Bhim Sain Bassi has plans for retired life, which for him begins today.

“I will be travelling after my retirement. If I go to any country, I will try to find how they deal with a case of sedition,” Bassi, who was in the eye of the storm over the sedition case against student leader Kanhaiya Kumar, told HT.

To help the good work along, a suggestion: Mr Bassi could begin by studying the sedition laws right here in this country. Not to mention more basic laws — such as the right to be deemed innocent unless proven otherwise.
